As you place the snippets together, be sure to follow these rules:
- If a snippet ends on the lowered sixth scale degree, the next snippet must begin one step lower. In other words, if a snippet ends on F, the next snippet must begin on E.
- If a snippet ends on the raised seventh scale degree, the next snippet must begin one step higher on A. In other words, G♯ must resolve up to A.
