For each unison and octave, determine its quality. Remember, you don't need to count half steps for octaves, just picture both notes as having the same accidental as the bottom note (perfect quality), then check if the top note expands (augmented) or contracts (diminished) that distance. Keep an eye on the clef, examples will randomly change between treble and bass.
